What sets Restaurante Santa Fe apart is its strong connection to the local community. Many patrons, like Petko Ivanov, have praised it as a "nice family restaurant" with "delicious Mexican cuisine." Whether you’re a local or a tourist, you will find this establishment brimming with character and warmth.
While the restaurant is beloved for its tasty offerings, feedback suggests that there is room for improvement in service. Ives Leon notes that the food is "very tasty," but he found the portions short and the service lacking at times. For those seeking a great meal within a short walk from the iconic Hotel Santa Prisca, Alcoy Espana recommends Restaurante Santa Fe for its "great service and menu." The atmosphere here is cozy, making it an ideal stop for a casual family outing or a quick bite to eat.
One highlight that numerous visitors appreciate is the menu’s focus on fresh ingredients. J, a regular, raves about the chicken tostadas, which feature freshly fried tortillas and a generous amount of chicken topped with ensalada. The addition of the spicy verde salsa offers a delightful kick that adds to the dish’s overall appeal. Though J missed out on the flan, opting instead for elote cake, the consistent quality across the menu makes it worthwhile to explore other options.
Monika Paprocka emphasizes the affordability of prices, another draw that keeps customers returning. With its combination of good food, a lively atmosphere often enhanced by futbol on a 65" TV, and reasonable prices, Restaurante Santa Fe is more than just a dining spot; it’s a local favorite that encapsulates the spirit of Taxco.
In conclusion, whether you're looking for something hearty and comforting or a simple yet satisfying meal, Restaurante Santa Fe stands ready to welcome you with open arms. With a little focus on service improvement, it could easily become the go-to destination for both newcomers and residents alike in the vibrant culinary landscape of Taxco de Alarcon.
“ Nice family restaurant. Delicious Mexican cuisine. ”
“ Located not far from Taxco's zocalo, food very tasty but portions seemed short, service needs improvement. Place has years of service but, customer experience needs improvement ”
“ Cute little restaurant within walking distance from Hotel Santa Prisca. Great service and menu. ”
“ Great place to stop and get a bite. It seems to me like its popular among locals and it was crowded the two times I went. They also have a 65" tv on the wall that they show futbol on as well. I had the chicken tostadas both times I went and its a great meal. The tortillas are freshly fried and a generous amount of chicken/ensalada. They also offer this verde salsa that has a nice kick. I wanted to try the flan but rhey ran out, so I tried elote cake and it was okay. Overall, I'd say give a try if you're close to the area; very affordable! ”
“ Nice mexican restaurant with nice prices. ”
“ A great restaurant at great prices. The breakfast combos include coffee and orange juice. We were there with seven people and everyone enjoyed there food. I had the chicken mole enchiladas. Excellent. ”
“ I tried this restaurant for breakfast. I recommend desayunos packages, that goes from desayuno 1 to 4. All desayunos includes coffee, orange juice or fruit salad and main course. Bread in the table are not included, extra if you consume it. Food quantity was not enough for me but i eat bread with coffee. I was here in low season, thus service was fast. I definitely recommend it. ”
“ Not many good food options in Taxco. This place has homemade honest mexican food, Fonda style. Will go back! ”
